Hair Treatments You Could Try At Home

Protein Treatment

The main structural component of your hair is a fibrous protein called Keratin. Of course you have heard of it from all the hair product advertisements. But why am I telling you this?

As you know now, hair is primarily made of proteins. Then we can deduce from this that proteins must be naturally good for hair, just by putting 2 and 2 together. Anything which has proteins will do wonders for your hair. Eat, Drink, Apply.

Dairy Products will do very nice things for your hair. Drink one glass of milk every day. Have curd, cheese, butter etc.

You can consider applying curd to your hair. Makes you hair soft and shiny, while it cures dryness. Curd provides your hair with essential oils and reduces breakage and hair fall.

Water Or Moisture

Is the main constituent of our world and hence our lives. Not only is 70% of the earth water but even our bodies hold exactly that percentage of water.

Drink Good Amounts Of Water

Is of great value in these times. Not only have it but also apply on hair. Honey packs many beneficial vitamins and minerals which repairs your hair and treats split ends, making your mane healthy. I generally add honey to curd or oil. You can add it to a variety to other things.

Honey is an essential part of the moisturizing treatment because it is built to attract moisture. So when you apply honey to your hair it attracts moisture long after it has been washed off, keeping you hair hydrated and soft. Giving it a glamorous look.

The Honey

Are magic wands for your hair. Rich in potassium, vitamins, minerals and natural oils which are all good for your hair banana is a one stop solution to help your hair. Just mash it up and use it solo or mix up with honey.

cover up your hair with banana and keep for an hour before washing off and shampooing and conditioning as always. This will cure dandruff and split ends, making your hair soft and shiny and manageable and dream like.

Of course you could also get a hydrating shampoo and conditioner for your hair so as to avoid drying out your hair with each wash.

All these products – curd, egg, mayonnaise, honey and bananas are very economical and you can find them lying around your home any time of the year. You do not have to do anything extra to get fabulous hair. Mix up any of these products with any of the other product or just throw it all in and mix it up and pile on to your tresses. The results will be the same. But you will definitely save time.

Do not do these treatments every week. If you are mixing it all up then once a month is enough. And if you stick to protein and moisture treatments separately then do alternate treatment every fortnight. These are both very simple and effective processes. I have suggested these to many and I quite frequently do them myself. And you know what I don’t have naturally gifted hair.
