Regular Pedicure Or Mini Pedicure
Regular pedicure is done by soaking feet in lukewarm water for a long time, after which dead skin is scrubbed off using a pumice stone, followed by clipping and shaping of toe-nails, calf massage, moisturizing and finally nail paints application.
Mini pedicure involved similar process but feet being soaked for a shorter duration. It is a good regime to be followed regularly to have happy and clean feet.
A very stylish way of presenting you feet is through French pedicure. The process is very similar to regular pedicure, the difference being in the nail-paint application process and color used.
Typically, in French pedicures, the nail-paint applied is a natural pink or the toenails are left non-polished. White paint is applied on the tips only. It gives the feet a very delicate and soft look. Make sure you have nails grown long enough to make the pedicure more impactful.
This is an excellent way to rejuvenate tired feet. It involves more of a massage. Warm oils are massaged on the feet and calf using pressure point to relax the feet muscles using hot stones.
After this, the feet are cleansed with mild soap and toenails are filed, clipped and cleansed followed by application of a soothing nail-paint. It is usually done regularly opted for by people who have dry and cracked feet. Use of stones helps get rid of dead cells.
The involvement of multilayered paraffin wax for pedicure has been very popular. A thick moisturizer is applied on the feet and then it is dipped into warm paraffin wax. Wax can also be brushed on to the feet.
After the wax dries up, it is peeled off. This is a good cure for dry feet. It leaved behind soft and moisturized feet. This should be done professionally and not tried at home, because use of very hot wax may cause damage.
Wine Or Chocolate Pedicure
Offered mostly in high end beauty salons or specialized foot-care salons; these pedicure methods involve feet to be soaked in ice-cream or wine respectively. It s massaged and left that way for some time.
After that, feet are cleansed using very mild cleanser or may just be rubbed off with a wet towel. Calf massage, nail clipping and shaping is done, followed by main polish application.
