Ingredients Needed For The Salt
For making the bath salt you will need about 1.5 cups Epsom Salt and sea salt each. 1/4 cup baking soda and lavender flower buds are needed. You can also use the same amount of dried lavender flowers if you want. 20 drops of lavender essential oil is required along with 10 drops of regular vanilla oil. You can also make use of the vanilla pod here or even both if you want. If you want you can also add fresh lavender leaves to the bath water.
Mix All Ingredients
The first step here is to mix all of your ingredients together. It is ideal to do this from the hand so that all of the salts are mixed well with the vanilla ingredients. At this stage, the batter will seem more like a dry pie though. Feel the salt and mix through your fingers. Make sure that exact quantities of all ingredients are taken.
Now you have to assemble these ingredients together. This can be done in a nice clean jar, from where the bath salt can be taken and used as needed. Or you can also arrange it in a tray and freeze it for a bit. This way you can cut out square pieces of the bath salt and pack them.
Using The Salt
You will need at least two big spoons of bath salt in a regular bath tub. If you want, you can also try using 1 cube of 2×2 inches in the bath. Let the salt dissolve well in the bath or use your hands for doing the same. This way you can ensure that fragrance and salt spreads all through.
Soak In The Salt
