Beauty Masks Using Gelatin:

1. Fairness Mask

Mix up ¼ cup pineapple juice with 1 tablespoon organic honey. Heat the mixture over low heat and add two tablespoon of gelatin powder to it. Stir continuously so that gelatin is dissolved completely. Let the mixture cool for some time. Clean your face with a wet tissue and spread this mixture over the face and neck. Let it dry for 5 minutes and then paint another layer over it. Once the mask dries entirely, peel it and sponge down the skin with cool water. You can notice that your skin has become brighter in just one application.

2. Refreshing Mask

Take a few slices of peeled cucumber and add two tablespoon of lemon juice to it. Blend them in a processor until smooth and heat it over low heat. Add gelatin powder, say 2 tablespoons to the smoothie and mix well until the paste gets a bit thick. Allow it to cool down and apply it on the face. Peel it off once the mask dries up. This will leave your skin fresh and impurities free instantly.

3. Golden Glow Mask

Squeeze out some orange juice, say about four tablespoon and blend it with 2 tablespoon of gelatin powder. Heat it over low flame, so that the gelatin dissolves completely. Wipe down your face and apply two coats of this mask and let it dry. Peel it in upward direction and wash the face with cold water to get a glowing skin.

4. Soothing Mask

Brew one cup some green tea and put in two tablespoons gelatin powder and two tablespoons aloe gel. Stir the ingredients thoroughly and spread it over the skin. Once the mask dries, peel it off and cleanse the skin with lukewarm water. This will help remove sun tan and other discoloration and soothe the skin.

5. Hair Mask

Mix one tablespoon gelatin with 3 tablespoon lemon juice, two tablespoon honey and some warm water. Stir the mixture so that gelatin dissolves. Apply this mixture through the length of the hair. Make sure your hair is wet when you apply this hair mask. Wrap the hair with a towel and rinse using your regular shampoo after 30 minutes to make your hair soft, silky and glossy. Note: Do not apply this on your scalp.
